Open Position - Client Services
PRIMARY ROLE:
Provide superior service to assigned clients and provide administrative support to producer. Requires direct interaction with clients and vendors including live meetings, telephone and email correspondence. Must be able to work independently and think proactively.
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:
Meet firm's objectives for superior client service, client development and policy retention.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge and prior experience with Individual Life, Long Term Disability and Long Term Care products
- Experience with underwriting individual contracts
- Strong relationship building and client service skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- Organizational skills very important
- Illustration and case design a plus
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist producer in day to day operations and maintain his calendar

Prepare and assist in the delivery of illustrations, applications, and contracts

Resolve clients’ day-to-day insurance related issues and needs.

Proactively interact with clients to order medical exams and expedite the underwriting process

Contact clients annually for contract renewal

Respond to carrier requests and Partners’/ SVP’s needs in a timely manner.

Maintain client files and database according to procedures and regulations
-
Check policies for accuracy, keep copies for file and arrange for delivery

Keep SVP up-to-date about any issues affecting clients

Assist in marketing initiatives

Maintain Life & Health licenses and keep in force at all times by completing continuing education courses, etc.

Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge by attending vendor meetings & trainings, industry events, etc.

Maintain appropriate word, excel, and power-point documents in accordance with department standards

Responsible for other specific duties and projects as assigned .
